Ministry of Education to Announce Results of High School Bac II Exams Today

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will be announcing the high school Baccalaureate exam results for Phnom Penh and Kandal Province at 3 PM today, 14 January, and other provinces on Saturday, 15 January.

It is not yet clear why the date for the exam results was changed, as the previously results were scheduled to be announced between 18-19 January 2022.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Education on Thursday, 13 January, the Departments of Education in each provincial capital in Cambodia would be receiving the list of examination results at the writing centers in each constituency, according to the updated time and date.

For the opening of the examination results package in each district, the Director of the educational institution must be present, including a representative of the Office of Education, Youth and Sports of the Municipal District, Commune Administration, and a representative of the local authority.

In addition, the announcement of the Baccalaureate results must be linked to the report sent back to the Department of Exam Affairs via social media, Telegram, confirming the status of the received exam results package with the stamp of the Department of Exam Affairs, as well as the exact time the exam results package was opened.

The high school baccalaureate exam for the 2020-2021 academic year was held on 27-28 December 2021 with a total of 114,185 participating candidates (53,788 male and 60,397 female).
